SERDANG, 22 February 2024 - TxTUFS INBOUND: Unity Through Culture, led by Mr. Muhammad Rusydan Zahariman, was held from February 22, 2024, to February 27, 2024. The program was attended by 16 members of the organizing committee and 18 international students from Takushoku University and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. The program was fully conducted in and around the areas of Universiti Putra Malaysia, Maktab Perguruan Ilmu Khas Cheras, and Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka.

This program lasted for 6 days and 5 nights and was filled with 7 main slots that were interesting and beneficial to all participants. Slot 1 was the Introduction to UPM & Kolej Tan Sri Aishah Ghani. This slot aimed to provide an introduction to UPM and KTAG for the participants regarding the culture and regulations that have been established. Slot 2 of the program was a visit to Mata Tunas Durian, Bukit Ekspo. This slot was conducted to provide exposure and experience in eating local fruits in Malaysia such as durian, banana, mangosteen, and so on. Next, slot 3 was the Introduction to Malaysia was held in the Scorpio room, KTAG. This slot was conducted to introduce Malaysia in general to the participants. It contained several contents such as the various ethnicities in Malaysia, the official language used, and the diversity of religions. Additionally, this slot introduced the national emblem, the Jalur Gemilang (the Malaysian flag), and the constitutional system in Malaysia. It also explained traditional attire such as Baju Melayu, Baju Kurung, and others. Participants were allowed to try on these traditional costumes. Then, slot 4 was the Traditional Games slot held in Dewan Putra 1. This 

slot was designed to educate participants about traditional games, also known as “Sukan Rakyat”. Among the sports played by the participants were Tuju Tin, Tating Lawi, and Galah Panjang. Slot 5 continued with the activity Masterchef: Show the best Nasi Lemak and a session on weaving ketupat. This slot aimed to provide participants from Japan with an experience in preparing traditional Malay food. Furthermore, slot 6 was a slot with KAIGHA, the cultural group of KTAG. This session aimed to teach the basics movement of the “Tarian Inang” to the participants. Additionally, slot 7 began with the activity Gema Seni KTAG. This slot included basic learning sessions using traditional musical instruments such as the Kompang and ended with a Japanese language learning session with the participants. This slot provided an opportunity for the participants to teach basic Japanese language to the committee members. The program concluded with a Closing Ceremony at Dewan Putra 1, officiated by Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Ahmad Shukri Muhammad Noor, the Principal of Kolej Tan Sri Aishah Ghani, Associate Professor Dr. Faridah Mohamed, representatives from Takushoku University and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Ms. Aimi Nadhirah Roslan, the Advisor of TxTUFS INBOUND: Unity Through Culture Program, as well as the team of advisors and the College Representative Council (MPK) of KTAG.
