SERDANG, 21 JANUARY 2024 - The ‘Kem Jati Diri Pelajar SPM 2023’ is a volunteering program organized by the College Representative Council, Tan Sri Aishah Ghani College in collaboration with the Committee of Agricultural Science Foundation Students (HICOM ASPer), Tan Sri Aishah Ghani College Management, the Student Affairs Division (BHEP), Universiti Putra Malaysia and the Village Security Development Committee (JPKK) Area 6, Kampung Sungai Bunyi Mukim Rimba Terjun, Pontian Johor aims to help raise the spirits of B40 students to sit for the upcoming Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) which will be held in March 2023.

This ‘Kem Jati Diri Pelajar SPM 2023’ is held to motivate students by giving them early exposure to the opportunities and benefits of continuing their studies after finishing school. This program is also a platform for students to recognize their potential and strength and improve their identity and brotherhood through training in groups so that they are better prepared to sit for the SPM exam.

In addition, the ‘Kem Jati Diri Pelajar SPM 2023’ also wants to give exposure to members of the executive committee consisting of Universiti Putra Malaysia students in realizing the 3rd core of the HEPA Strategic Plan 2021-2025, which is volunteering. With this program, they are trained to contribute to the community and society by managing the activities and welfare of the camp participants while they are here.

"Although this is the first camp that the students have participated in, they are committed to paying attention to the activities that we carry out." said the program director of the ‘Kem Jati Diri Pelajar SPM 2023’, Muhammad Rusydan Zahariman.

According to the College Principal of Tan Sri Aishah Ghani College, Prof. Assoc. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Shukri Muhammad Noor, community programs like this can give students the opportunity to recognize their strengths, and potential and adapt to the socio-cultural environment. Not only that, but they can also create close cooperation and unity between students to sit for the SPM exam and produce a first-class-minded society that is able to be the core and symbol of the nation's excellence.
