SERDANG, 28 April – The Academic and Personality Secretariat, College Representative Council, Tan Sri Aishah College (KTAG), session 2022/2023 in collaboration with the Malay Language Debate Club of Universiti Putra Malaysia, the Ministry of Higher Education and the Language and Library Council has organized a Youth Debate competition between Malaysian Higher Education Institutions Piala Tan Sri Aishah Ghani 2024. This edition is the 8th edition since it was first organized. This competition lasts for 3 days starting from 26 April 2024 until 28 April 2024 and is conducted physically. A total of two locations, namely the Central Academic Lecture Hall, Universiti Putra Malaysia and the Radin Umar Engineer Auditorium, Universiti Putra Malaysia were used. This annual competition is organized with the aim of providing a platform to unearth the talents of students throughout Malaysia in the Malay language debate as well as inculcate critical thinking in students. As a result, more competent students can be born and able to face the challenges of competitiveness in the future.

The Tan Sri Aishah Ghani Cup 2024 Youth Debate Competition between Malaysian Higher Education Institutions organized by the Academic and Personality Secretariat, College Representative Council, Tan Sri Aishah College (KTAG) was participated by 40 teams from several Public Education Institution Colleges in Malaysia. Among them are Universiti Malaya (UM), MARA University of Technology (UiTM) Kedah, Al-Quran College Terengganu (KQT), MARA Batu Pahat Poly-Tech College (KPTM), Cyberjaya Multimedia University (MMU) and others. On the first day, round 1 was conducted at the Central Academic Lecture Hall starting at 8:45 pm. On the following day, rounds 2, 3, 4 and the quarter-finals will be held at the same location. While the final round and the Closing Ceremony of DELIA 2024 were held at the Radin Umar Engineer Auditorium, Universiti Putra Malaysia. DELIA's final round and Closing Ceremony were also enlivened by the presence of honorary guests such as Puan Huznah binti Sa'it; Head of the Children's and Adolescent Literature Development Division, Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, Prof. Associate Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad; Director of Universiti Putra Malaysia Alumni Relations Center, Miss Nurshuhairah binti Rosmi; Program Director for the 2024 Youth Debate Competition "Tan Sri Aishah Ghani Cup", Miss Nur Sabrina Marzuki; Head Fellow of Tan Sri Aishah Ghani University Putra Malaysia College and lastly Prof. Assoc. Ir. Dr. Daljit Singh A/L Karam Singh; College Principal Tan Sri Aishah Ghani.
