SERDANG, 16 Disember 2023 - The Spiritual and Unity Secretariat of the College Representative Council, Tan Sri Aishah College (KTAG), session 2023/2024, in collaboration with the Mosque Management Club, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Center, Universiti Putra Malaysia Islamic Center, Wazan UPM, the Islamic Student Association (PMI UPM), and the Student Representative Council for the 2022/2023 session, organized an Intercollege Quranic Recitation Competition. The competition took place over one day on December 16, 2023, and was conducted in person. The venue for the competition was at the Panggung Percubaan, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The purpose of this competition was to encourage public interest in the Qur'an and serve as a source of motivation for participants to improve the quality of their Qur'anic recitation.

The Intercollege Quranic Recitation Competition organized by the Spiritual and Unity Secretariat, College Representative Council, Tan Sri Aishah College (KTAG), was attended by 12 individuals from various Residential Colleges at UPM. Each college was required to send 1 male and 1 female participant. There are 8 residential colleges sending representatives for the competition. On the day of the event, the competition began with the Men's category, featuring 7 representatives from UPM's residential colleges. After the completion of the men's category and a break, the event continued with the Women's category, which had 5 representatives from UPM's residential colleges. The event was further enhanced by the presence of Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Ahmad Shukri Muhammad Noor, the Principal of Tan Sri Aishah Ghani College.
